United Airlines Announce New Boeing 777-300ER
United Airlines recently announced they will be operating a new Boeing 777-300ER to San Francisco throughout the upcoming North American ski season!
Commencing on 31 October 2017, the larger aircraft will be servicing the Auckland to San Francisco route 6 times a week through to 17 December; then daily over peak season until 24 March 2018.
This change in aircraft from the originally scheduled Dreamliner, offers an additional 114 seats as well as the all new United Polaris Business Class Service.
So what extra luxury can passengers expect in the recently upgraded Business Class service?
United Polaris suite-like pods feature a 180-degree flat-bed that measures 6’6” and 23 inches wide with infinite seat recline options and one-touch lumbar support, ample storage, multiple surfaces that enable passengers to dine while working, universal A/C power as well as 2-USB ports, a 16-inch high-definition entertainment screen, electronic privacy dividers for seats in the center of the cabin, mood lighting and an illuminated “Do Not Disturb” sign.
Should you ever want to leave the comfort of your pod, a marble-topped bar unit offers mid-flight drinks & snacks for your enjoyment.
