Last winter, Panorama had their busiest snow season in over 10 years! Therefore, on the back of this growth, Panorama are making significant investments to enhance your Ski Holiday Experience.
New Crave Worthy Dining
Panorama has two new food outlets opening this December that will bring a heightened sense of elegance and sophistication to the dining scene.
Lead by Executive Chef Vincent Stufano, Alto Kitchen & Bar will plate up rustic Italian style pizza from a striking Forno Bravo oven, the centerpiece of the restaurant, along with a menu of Italian inspired evening fare, healthy lunchtime fuel and hearty breakfasts that will satisfy the most avid foodie.
Fireside Cafe and Lounge will serve up locally roasted coffee and crave worthy baked goods by day and transition to a laid back wine lounge by night.
They are also opening a gourmet meat pie bakery in the lower village this season and their snowcat food-truck, Snowlicious Mobile Kitchen (the first in Canada) will once again dish up mitten approved hot food and cold beer right on the slopes.
Monster Terrain Expansion Continues…
Panorama are continuing to expand their offering of steep and deep expert terrain off the summit with another four runs and plenty more unnamed lines added this season in Tayntons Bowl’s Monster area. The terrain will again be accessible by the Monster X, a 13-seat passenger snowcat, that provides a paid shuttle ride to the highest point of the terrain. Monster X will run on Thursdays, weekends and special dates throughout the season.
2022 FIS World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships
Come March 2022, Panorama will welcome athletes from around the world when they host the FIS World Junior Alpine Skiing Championships! This season they will host the first of several important events in preparation for the World Juniors, beginning with the Canadian National Alpine Championships, March 25-29, 2020.
Independence and Ongoing Improvement
In a time of resort consolidation, Panorama proudly remains privately owned and independent. This stance allows them to put the guests first when looking at developments and improvements. Aside from the investment into new terrain and dining, they continue to invest in the latest snowmaking technology. They have also added another Prinoth snowcat groomer to the the fleet, undertook earthworks to improve several popular trails and completed a comprehensive summer slope mowing program.
Panorama Resort will be open to the public from December 6, 2019 to April 12, 2020.
