Senior Travel Consultant (Snow Holidays)

$60,000 – $70,000 + uncapped commission + perks

Your exciting challenge is to meticulously plan and sell worldwide ski holiday packages to our amazing customers.  To share the passion for everything wintery and white, and to blend into a small, but dynamic team.  At AMPED everyone matters!

 

Senior Travel Consultant:

  • First point of contact for customer enquiries (FIT & Group)
  • Provide prospective clients with a detailed ski resort and holiday destination options (in person, over the phone, and via webchat)
  • Management and processing of client files and holiday requirements

 

Key Skills:

  • A proven track record in an Intermediate/Senior Travel Consultancy role
  • Can work autonomously, as well as being a valued member of a team
  • Be a creative salesperson
  • Enjoys working with the end consumer
  • GDS knowledge (Amadeus preferred)
  • Skilled in using Excel and Word
  • High attention to detail and quality of work
  • High standard of written English and professional business writing
  • A high level of problem-solving skills
  • Professional telephone manner and personal presentation
  • Proven ability to effectively manage many tasks and prioritize accordingly

 

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Understanding of international airfares and GDS
  • 2+ years of  Travel Consultant experience (minimum)
  • Level 4 Certificate in Travel and /or a completed business degree
  • Legally able to work in New Zealand

Sales Support & Marketing Assistant

$45,000 – $52,000 + perks

About The Role:

In this exciting role, your primary focus will be to meticulously plan and execute our ‘Snow Holiday’ marketing campaigns. You’ll be responsible for crafting and managing marketing strategies to promote our ski travel experiences, while also supporting our sales team with daily product management and pricing tasks. Customer service is key, so you’ll help maintain our high standard of customer management, ensuring our clients’ dreams of the perfect winter holiday come to life.

 

This is a full-time role Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute our ‘Snow Holiday’ marketing plans Support the sales channel by managing product and pricing updates Assist with day-to-day customer management tasks Ensure smooth, efficient office operations and contribute to system improvements.

 

What We’re Looking Four:

  • A passion for winter sports – whether you’re a skier or snowboarder!
  • Marketing assistant – to assist with executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, digital ads).
  • Content creation skills – skillset to craft engaging, persuasive content for marketing materials, social posts, and client communications.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Strong written English and professional business communication skills.
  • Data entry experience, with high level of accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of the New Zealand travel industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with familiarity in marketing tools like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or similar.
  • Professional telephone manner and excellent personal presentation
